Rock fortresses, ruined cities and wild elephants
Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle packs more than two thousand years of history into a small area. This six-day tour bases you around Sigiriya so you spend more time exploring and less time in the car, adds a wild elephant safari, and finishes with the sacred city of Kandy.
Meet your driver at the airport and travel to the Sigiriya area (about 4–5 hours) with a comfort stop on the way. Check in and unwind.
Overnight: Sigiriya
Climb the “Lion Rock” early in the morning for the best light and the coolest temperatures. In the afternoon, visit a traditional village for a bullock-cart ride and a home-cooked Sri Lankan lunch.
